Sophie in Kentucky

This was my first trip on a plane and we got to go to Kentucky to visit my cousins. I slept alot on the plane. But had so much fun once we got there. I spent lots of time with Auntie Erin and Uncle Kyle.

And check out my new outfit! A little Kentucky Jockey! "S" for Super? Even I had fun at the pool! Though honestly, I slept most of the time! Boy the airport was crowded on the way home. I was super hungry, so we just sat on the floor and had a snack.

Kentucky sure was fun. Thanks to all the Harneys!

Love,

Sophie

The last blog, Sophie Style

You would wonder how Sophie is growing so big--she wears as much of her food and she eats! But meal time is always fun. This night it was peas and carrots! She is starting to use her voice more and more too. And she has a lot to say. She'll tell you when she's angry and when she's hungry and when she's tired. But usually she is just happy and smiley. And she and Grampy were having a very serious discussion.....Sophie is the sweetest, happiest little girl who brings even more smiles into our home. But if you've read Noah's blog yet you will know that we have decided to combine our blogs and this will be the last entry into Sophie's Blog. She turned 6 mo old this week and after 20 entries, we have decided to start a new blog: Noah and Sophie's Blog. For those of you following along, you will be able to find everything in one place. We are sure Sophie won't mind--she adores her brother and will be happy to share a blog with him. Thanks for following along, even for a short time! Her new blog will be at http://noahandsophiesblog.blogspot.com/

Love to all..... Sophie

I went to Max's graduation in DC

I went to Max's graduation last month! Pretty cool to have cousins who graduated college. Look who's the star for the day! (couldn't take my eyes off him!)It was especially fun with so much of my family there....Nanny, Poppy and my cousins big and small.... Graduation was outdoors on the Washington Mall. It was pretty cool, but I was kind of tired and slept through alot of it.

But check out the sights! That's a really tall building, isn't it?

Hey Max, what's that?? Cool medal. Sorry...I didn't mean to scare you. We all went to dinner. I got pretty hungry and wasn't so happy...I'm not sure why Nanny and Poppy think that is so funny!

The best part was that I got to see lots of my family. We even played "Pass the Sophie"!I sure had fun. Thanks for a great weekend everyone.

Love,

Sophie

We know we've said this before, but we just can't believe how fast Sophie is growing. She has already learned to turn over. And look how she already fills up the Pack-N-Play. She used to be a tiny little baby lying in the middle. Not only is she getting bigger, she is getting cuter and cuter every day! We went to Kentucky to visit the Harney's a couple weeks ago. Check out Sophie in her Kentucky colors!

And we spent one day at the pool. Sophie mostly slept, but sure looked good! Lots of shade for her. And a hat that would make all the Kentucky ladies proud!

More pictures from our Kentucky trip real soon.

Did you miss me?

We have been away from the blog for a long time. This is partly because David's computer crashed, and all the files were lost. We keep all of our pictures on David's computer. We have many of them backed up in different places, but it's been hard finding them all.

This is probably going to be one of the last of Sophie's and Noah's blog. Very soon we are going to merge them into one Sophie AND Noah's blog. We will keep you updated.

But here are some quick updates and boy do things change quickly. Look who found her toes!

And she can hold her own bottle. Well sort of... it still drips all down her chin when she hold it herself.

Toes alone don't fill your belly. Sophie is now eating real food (she still wears alot of it!)Hi Smiley!Sophie loves playing! We call this little video "Sophie's Revenge"...or "Look out Below!"

Sophie loves playing outside. She loves the swings though you couldn't tell from the look on her face here. And then it's time for a snack.

Good night sleepy head!

Sophie's First Passover

We were in Avon for Sophie's first Passover. She got to spend time with her cousins Sam and Ben. Samantha especially took such good care of her. Talk about a big girl. Look how big Samantha looks holding her little cousin. Ben spent alot of time playing with Noah, but got a chance to hang out with Sophie as well. She hung out with Auntie Laurieand Max,

And of course Poppy....

She also got to play with Nanny, Sarah, Auntie Marci, Uncle Jimmy and Uncle Peter, but we don't have good pictures to show you.

Sophie is now the youngest at the table (and always will be); she tried to say the 4 questions with some help from Mom and Dad (and then her brother and cousins)
What a great first Passover for Sophie! Check out Noah's Blog for other fun pictures from Passover....

Are little girls supposed to grow up this fast?

Are little girls supposed to grow up this fast? Look at little Sophie starting to sit up! She is such a doll. She doesn't cry or whine--unless she's hungry. Or tired.

She is starting to sit up a little bit, and is having fun with the Bumbo. And like her brother, she is already an amazing Wii player!Erin never gets into the blog too much, but she loves Sophie, and Sophie loves her. Even though she is growing up so quickly, she still sleeps alot. She has actually slept all night a cou;ple of nights this past week. She sleeps like a little angle. Night night Sophie.
